The Center for Professional Development at the University of Tirana announces that, on November 6, 2025, on the clock 10:00,in The "Liberty" building, will develop
" "Pedagogical-Psychological Training Program" offered for:

newly hired academic staff who do not possess pedagogical-psychological training through completed university studies,
-
for academic staff in the assistant lecturer category, but who have not received pedagogical training through university studies or training during their career.

Also, this program will be offered to academic staff at another higher education institution who are interested in pursuing this course, as well as to anyone who aspires to be employed at a higher education institution in the future.
The program is offered by University of Tirana and will be led by lecturers with extensive experience in the field of teaching, as well as foreign professors, who will share their professional approaches and experiences.
This program aims to train new academic staff, teachers without psycho-pedagogical training, as well PhD who aspire to a career in higher education.
It is also open to lecturers from other higher education institutions interested in pursuing this training.
The program will last 12 weeks and includes three main areas:

The field of teaching,

The field of teaching discipline,

The field of professional values.
The training aims to equip participants with psycho-pedagogical competencies, including knowledge of student behavior and motivation, learning styles, active teaching methods, assessment, and the use of technology in the learning process.
The program values the importance of creating positive and inclusive learning environments, where students feel respected and engaged. Through interactive methods and hands-on experience, it aims to strengthen the ability of educators to foster student participation, critical thinking, and motivation.
In conclusion, this program represents an important step in the professional development of young lecturers, contributing to the improvement of the quality of teaching and the advancement of higher education in Albania.
