From 8 to 12 January 2024, the Rector of the University of Tirana welcomed at the next meeting the Rectors and coordinators of the University Alliance UNINOVIS for LIFE, consisting of 7 universities (Sorbonne University Paris Nord, France, University of Applied Sciences, Tampere Finland, University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany, University of Malaga, Spain, University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Italy and University of Applied Sciences Kaunas, Lithuania UNINOVIS for LIFE Alliance aims to create the university of European first in Data Sciences with a joint degree as well as joint programs, TWIN program, microcredentials, excellence Hubs in applied fields of data, to be in line with the obligations deriving from the EU Data Directives (DATE) During this week, the Alliance's progress, joint activities and issues related to its sustainability after the end of EU funding were discussed.
