Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha hosted in a meeting the first Ambassador of Japan in Tirana, SH.TZ ITO Makoto.
The meeting was attended by Mrs. Morikawa Hiroko, Head of the Culture Sector, Prof. Dr. Dhori Kule, Dean of the Faculty of Economics UT and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Etleva Leskaj, Head of the Management Department, Faculty of Economics.
The Japanese Embassy donated books in the field of Economics, which will be added to the book fund in the FE UT library.
The Rector and the Dean thanked Ambassador Hito for the donation.
Among others, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha expressed the desire and interest of the University of Tirana to increase cooperation with Japanese universities in the field of staff and student exchange, scientific research projects and other areas of mutual interest.
