The University of Tirana has a very fruitful cooperation with the University of Turin Studies within the Erasmus + Program and today's meeting was aimed at intensifying the relations between the two universities. From the Italian side, it was proposed that a joint program be developed between the two universities in the second cycle of the Master of Science study in "Language for tourism and territory development". Albanian and Italian students who will follow this program will have the opportunity to complete one year of their studies at the University of Tirana and the next year at the University of Turin. At the end of the studies, the students will be provided with two diplomas respectively issued by both universities.
In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Mynyr Koni thanked the Italian professors for creating and developing a joint master's program between the two universities and expressed his full readiness for this proposal to become a reality as soon as possible. The rector emphasized that he would make all possible efforts to implement this project and that he would have all his maximum support.
The meeting also discussed the technical issues that must be carried out for the opening of this joint master's degree.
Based on the excellent cooperation that exists between the two universities, the Italian professors forwarded the invitation of the Rector of the University of Turin Studies that Prof. Dr. Mynyr Koni to conduct an official visit to this university and Rector Koni gladly accepted the invitation from the University of Turin Studies.
