The Rector of the University of Tirana receives the delegation of the World Association of Jurists Foundation

The Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, hosted the delegation of the UT at its premises. World Association of Jurists Foundation, in the framework of preparations for the organization of Congress of Jurists, which will take place in Tirana in 2027.

 During this working visit, organizational and preparatory issues for the 2027 World Congress of Jurists were discussed.

 The meeting was attended by:

• Ms. Angela Montoya – Executive Director (CEO) of the Foundation

•Mr. Gabriel Fernandez Rojas – Chief of Staff of the Foundation President

• Mr. Jacopo Docampo – General Coordinator of the Foundation

Also present at this meeting was Dr. Enkeleda Pano, Advisor in the Cabinet of the Minister of Justice, Mr. Besfort Lamallari, and Dr. Erida Elmazi, Director of the Directorate of Scientific Research, Projects and External Relations at UT.

This visit took place following the participation of the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, in Congress of the World Association of Jurists, kept on May 4–7, 2025 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where the first steps were taken towards organizing the next Congress in Albania.

World Congress of Jurists 2027 It is expected to be a major international event, which will bring to Albania renowned personalities from the fields of justice, academia and politics.
