Title: "The importance of the ratification by Albania of the Hague Convention of 2019 "On the recognition and execution of foreign decisions in civil and commercial matters" (Convention of Decisions of HCCH 2019)";

Duration: 9 months;

Purpose: This project aims to highlight how Albania's ratification of the 2019 Hague Convention "On the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters", known as the 2019 HCCH Judgments Convention, may affect in improving the conditions for facilitating the enforceability of Albanian judicial decisions abroad and vice versa. In function of this objective, the analysis of the existing legal framework and the judicial practice in Albania, in some European countries and in the United States of America regarding the recognition and execution of the decisions of foreign courts, with the aim of evidencing whether the possibility of the execution of court decisions in civil and commercial cases of foreign courts in Albania and Albanian courts abroad is effective or not;
