Regulation “ON THE PREVENTION OF PLAGIARISM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TIRANA”

Purpose

• This regulation aims to establish a unified institutional framework for the prevention,
  identification, verification and treatment of plagiarism, in all forms of activity
  academic, teaching and scientific research at the University of Tirana (UT).
• It aims to guarantee academic and scientific integrity, respect for the rights of
  intellectual property, protecting and strengthening the academic reputation of UT as an institution
  the main institution of higher education and scientific research in Albania.
• The provisions of this regulation are based on the national legislation in force and are
  harmonized with European and international standards and best practices in the field of
  ethics and integrity in scientific research, emphasizing prevention, education,
  transparency, the right to due process and the application of proportionate disciplinary measures.
