The call for applications under the Erasmus+ Program for UT students at the University of the Aegean, Greece, for participation in the Combined Intensive Program (BIP) "Transforming Nutritional Research with Artificial Intelligence", September 28 - October 2, 2026, is postponed.
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program, the call for applications for first-year Master's students at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Tirana, for participation in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "Transforming Nutritional Research with Artificial Intelligence", organized by the University of the Aegean, Department of Food Science and Nutrition, in Lemnos, Greece, has been postponed.

Types of mobility include:
- Erasmus+ BIP combined mobility for studies.
Mobility level for students:
- Master, first year.
Program duration:
- September 23, 2026 – online preparatory activity;
- September 28 – October 2, 2026 – physical mobility in Lemnos, Greece;
- October 7, 2026 – closing online activity.
The program focuses on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in scientific research in the field of nutrition, including food consumption assessment, the use of large language models (LLM), food image analysis, personalized nutrition, predictive analytics, as well as issues of ethics, algorithmic bias, and data protection.
No prior knowledge of programming, statistics, or data analysis is required.
The program development language is English.
Participants who successfully complete the program will benefit 3 ECTS and a certificate of participation issued by the University of the Aegean.

*Learning Agreement is a contract between the home university and the applicant and serves to determine the courses you will develop at the host university. You only need to complete the first section "Before Mobility". Table A defines the subjects and credits you will receive at the host university, while table B defines which of the subjects of Table A will be recognized at the University of Tirana when you have completed the exchange period.
ATTENTION: You must choose to complete the same courses at the host University as those you would complete in the second semester at your faculty, so that the courses and credits will be recognized when you return. If the selected subjects differ from the ones you would develop in your faculty the second semester, then when you return you must develop the subjects that do not fit in the University of Tirana.
The ''Learning Agreement'' document in the ''Commitment'' section is signed first by the applicant, then by the academic coordinator at the department level, the academic coordinator at the faculty level and then to the Rectors by the Institutional Coordinator of Erasmus +. If the student changes courses during mobility, the During mobility section must be signed by the person in charge at the faculty and then by the person in charge at the Rectors.
Financial support:
Selected students, subject to fulfilling the Erasmus+ criteria and available funds, may benefit from financial support for travel and subsistence costs during the mobility period. The University of the Aegean has also foreseen additional funds for eligible participants.
