Today, April XNUMX, XNUMX, the next meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions in Albania took place.

During this meeting, some of the most important issues of common interest for Higher Education Institutions in the country were discussed, such as: 

• Continuous communication with the Ministry of Education and Sports, for the undertaking of several legal initiatives by it, such as the development of distance learning programs, the determination of the level of competence of knowledge in a foreign language, for candidates who will develop the studies of the cycle of third Doctorates and those in specialization;    
   
• Coordinating common policies and agreeing to reach an agreement between Republic of Cyprus, Greece and Albania within the framework of European Higher Education developments of interest to the participating parties, and beyond; 
   
• Approval in principle i Project-Strategy for an environmentally friendly University. 
  
  The members of the Rectors' Conference reconfirmed with unanimous approval the presidency of this Conference, re-electing the current President, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and 2 (two) vice presidents, Prof. Dr. Skender Topi and Prof. Dr. Tonin Gjuraj. 
  
  
  At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Rectors' Conference asked the members of the conference to notify all students of public and non-public HEIs (IAL) for participation in the International Student Conference on May 18-19, 2023.
