University of Tirana in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana held an open meeting with UT students with the participation of His Excellency, Mr. Jacek Czaputowicz, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Poland, His Excellency, Mr. Edgars Rink?vi?s, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Latvia, His Excellency, Mr. Linas Antanas Linkevi?ius, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Lithuania and Mr. Mart Vollmer, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Estonia.

This meeting was opened by Deputy The Rector of the University of Tirana, Dr. Gentiana Kera, who on behalf of UT thanked the invited dignitaries for their willingness to hold a conversation with the students onthe process of Albania's membership in the European Union  and the perspective of the new generation in the involvement in the economic, social and political life of the country.

The Foreign Ministers of Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia emphasized their countries' support for the European integration of Albania and the Western Balkans region. Participating students raised questions about the integration process, immigration, regional cooperation issues, the role of social media and other current political and social issues.
