The Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, welcomed in an official meeting Ms. Nahida Rrahman Shumona, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh based in Greece.

This meeting was held within the framework of the strategy for increasing cooperation with international institutions and aimed at establishing new academic bridges between Albania and Bangladesh.

During the meeting, the following was discussed:
• Establishing cooperation with the best universities in Bangladesh, in fields such as: social sciences, linguistics, economics and technology;
• Opportunities for foreign students to pursue studies at the University of Tirana;
• Organization of joint scientific activities, conferences, symposiums and cultural events.

This is another concrete step towards an increasingly open and connected university to the world!
