In the framework of the Jubilee Year, Pope Francis met with Albanian students from Albania at the Vatican. The students, senators and excellent people of the University of Tirana, were accompanied by the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, the Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Anila Paparisto, as well as the Deans of the Faculty of History-Philology, Prof. Dr. Mark Marku and the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha.

At this special meeting, the Rector of UT presented Pope Francis with a portrait of Mother Teresa, as a symbol of Albanian values ​​and spirit.

This activity was held under the auspices of Her Excellency, the Ambassador of Albania to the Vatican, Ms. Majlinda Doda. The Minister of Education and Sports, Ms. Ogerta Manastirliu, was also present at the meeting.
