Within the framework of the Erasmus + program and the JoinEU-SEE Penta project, on November 21, 2014, 11:00-13:00, the University of Tirana in cooperation with the Erasmus + National Office in Albania held an information session at the Faculty of Social Sciences , Aula Magna hall. This informative session had as its target group the academic staff and students of the University of Tirana and was intended to convey information on the possibilities of applying for scholarships and various projects and the signing of bilateral agreements in the framework of the Erasmus + program.

 

The Erasmus + program has opened the door to applications for activities where Albania is allowed to apply. Erasmus+ is important for Albania as it will financially support a number of activities in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sports for the period 2014-2020. It will enable and finance numerous exchanges of students, academic and administrative staff. Also, Erasmus + will support cooperation between higher education institutions in the EU and abroad, to develop new approaches to teaching, harmonization of programs, continued qualification of staff, cooperation with private enterprises and other actors, in order to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, adaptation to the needs of the labor market, etc.
