On March 17, 2023, Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, has held a meeting with the Rector of the "L'Orientale" University of Naples, Prof. Roberto Tottoli and Deputy Rector, Prof. Augusto Guarino.

This meeting was held within the academic cooperation that UT has with L'Orientale University, as well as to discuss the possibility of expanding bilateral relations between these two universities in the future.

The University of Tirana has a number of cooperation agreements with Italian Higher Education Institutions. These agreements were signed within the Erasmus+ ICM program, bilateral agreements and Erasmus+ KA2 projects.
