The Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, welcomed a delegation from the New York University in Tirana, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş.

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation between the two higher education institutions were discussed, with a focus on academic exchange, joint research projects, and the development of innovative programs.

From the University of Tirana, the meeting was attended by: Prof. Dr. Gentiana Sharku, Vice Rector, Prof. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edvin Lame, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Dr. Erida Elmazi, Director of Scientific Research, Projects and External Relations. While representatives of the University of New York present were: Prof. Dr. Nertila Gjini, Vice Rector, Prof. As. Ilir Kalemaj, Vice Rector and Merita Dinaj MSc, Director of NJSBC.

The Rector of the University of Tirana, also the Chairman of the Rectors' Conference in Albania, emphasized full support for initiatives that strengthen inter-university ties and increase the quality of higher education in the country.
