UNINOVIS Kick OFF meeting in Paris!
FIRST MEETING OF UNINOVIS IN PARIS
On 22-24 January 2025, the first official meeting of the European University Alliance UNINOVIS “Data for LIFE”, organized by the Sorbonne Paris Nord University, was held in Paris. This meeting was the starting point of a long, fruitful and challenging journey, with collaborations, innovative joint programs, scientific research and many other opportunities.
With the commitment of rectors to guarantee the sustainability of the UNINOVIS Alliance and with the concrete cooperation of its members, we are convinced that we will realize our ambitious vision: the creation of European Data Science University.
Participants from the seven partner universities: Sorbonne University Paris Nord (France), University of Tirana (Albania), University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (Germany), University of Applied Sciences Tampere (Finland), University of Malaga (Spain), University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” (Italy) and Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), as well as associated partners, including The Hague University of Applied Sciences, IT:U-Interdisciplinary Transformation University (Austria), discussed the successful implementation of the project and the opportunities they have in developing further collaborations.
The University of Tirana actively participated in the discussions and in defining the one-year short-term cooperation plan. UT will engage in study programs at all levels, including micro-credentials and doctoral studies. UT also aims to become a Center of Excellence in Albania and the region in the field of data, as well as to contribute to economic development and the S3 strategy, through scientific research, innovation and expertise.
