Meeting on the signing of the agreement in Pristina
The University of Tirana (UT) and the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" (UP), as the two largest Albanian-speaking universities in our countries, signed on 06.07.2021 the Cooperation Agreement with the aim of promoting and developing science, art, physical education and sports, the formation of specialists, the preparation of young scientists, in accordance with the country's development priorities.
The two parties will cooperate for the design, application and/or implementation of joint projects, the organization of various activities such as: debates, conferences, symposiums, workshops, summer and winter schools, in various fields of science, the facilitation of student transfer procedures between universities as well as allowing short-term exchanges of academic/administrative staff and students.
In the framework of European integration and free movement, which both countries aim for, we must first start with "better integration with each other" and be together for all the challenges of higher education.
Both Rectors of the universities expressed the belief that this cooperation will be effective and long-term.
