CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
EUI Academy of European Law (AEL) – Summer Courses in Florence (June 2026)
The University of Tirana, in cooperation with the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, announces that the call for applications for participation in the Academy of European Law (AEL) is open, which offers scholarships for participation in the Summer Courses to be held in Florence, Italy, during June 2026.
These courses are advanced level and focus on two areas of particular importance:
- Human Rights
- European Union Law
Who can apply
The call is open to advanced candidates in law and related fields at the University of Tirana, including:
- Doctoral students (PhD)
- Teachers and researchers
- Lawyers, specialists and practitioners in the field
- Administrative staff
- Advanced students in law or related fields
The program offers a valuable opportunity to attend specialized lectures, participate in academic discussions, and exchange experiences with international experts and professionals.
Course dates
Both courses will take place in the period:
June 15, 2026 – June 26, 2026
(Monday – Friday)
Selection of participants
Participants will be selected directly by the Academy of European Law (EUI).
The number of places is limited and only a select number of applicants will be accepted.
Selected candidates will benefit from:
- EUI course fee waiver
- Financial support from Erasmus+ for course participation
Financial support (Erasmus+)
For students
- €79 / day
- +100 € extra (for category fewer opportunities, if applicable)
- €275 travel support
- Vouchers for lunch and coffee breaks throughout the course period
For the staff
- €160 / day
- €275 travel support
- Vouchers for lunch and coffee breaks throughout the course period
Accommodation
EUI collaborates with the Convent of San Domenico Guesthouse, an accommodation facility near the campus, which offers rooms at a preferential price: €40/night
Priority for accommodation may be given to PhD students.
