The University of Tirana has been notified by the United Kingdom Embassy in Tirana about the possibility of applying for Chevening British Library Fellowship, a prestigious scholarship offered by British Library, in collaboration with UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
This fellowship is aimed at mid-career professionals, researchers and academics interested in contributing to the research and interpretation of the British Library's historical and cultural collections.
The program foresees a stance 12-month-old near the British Library and covers:
- living expenses;
- round-trip ticket;
- payments for stock exchange-related activities;
- until £ 1,000 for expenses approved within the project.
Chevening Southeast Europe British Library Fellowship aims to improve and enrich data on Southeast European collections, contribute to research on these collections, and create accessible guides for researchers and the general public.
Eligible countries for application include: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey.
