The Academic and Scientific Cooperation Agreement has been signed between the University of Tirana, represented by Rector Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, the University of Medicine, represented by Rector Prof. Dr. Xheladin Draçini, and the International European University in Kiev, Ukraine, represented by President Ms. Alla Navolokina. 

This cooperation aims to:

-Joint scientific research

-Exchanges of academics, students and study programs

-Organizing symposia, conferences and joint lectures

-Creating joint study programs and joint diplomas

The parties commit to developing activities in areas of common interest, in accordance with agreements to be formalized by the relevant institutions.

The Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, praised this agreement as a first step towards the possibility of student exchange between the two universities and between the two countries. This agreement takes on added value due to the conditions that Ukraine is going through as a result of the war with Russia. 

Ms. Navolokina also praised the agreement as an excellent opportunity to pave the way for the exchange of scientific research, academic staff and, above all, students, between universities in Ukraine and Albanian universities, such as the UT and the University of Medicine. 

UT is in a continuous process of internationalization and is increasing its programs in foreign languages year by year, to enable foreign students to pursue their studies.
