The purpose of the project is the strengthening, stabilization and modernization of the provision of social services in Albania, through the strengthening of the higher education system and its relationship with the work environment, namely that of social workers. Strengthening the model of providing social services with a special focus on the future inclusion of excluded groups or those without access to social services. The goals will be met through:
- Assessing the needs of social services: identifying problems affecting social services provided by institutions in Tirana, Shokdër and Tirana.
- Refreshing the theory and knowledge of the academic staff and social professionals in the field of children and women.
- Refreshing empirical research methodologies; training and refreshing the knowledge of academic staff in quantitative and qualitative research, to improve the quality of research in social services and to better promote the modernization of teaching methods.
- Capacity development of academic staff for the existing database and quality information that can be provided by the archives of social workers, digitization of archives
- Refreshing learning tools and developing learning through ICT targeting (lecturers, administrative staff and social workers);
- Structuring the coaching by developing an ad hoc administrative structure, a functional connection with the host institutions, the involvement of partners, the institutionalization of the academic figure and professional supervision; coaching evaluation;
- Structuring work procedures, protocols, guides, manuals for the order of the professional, under the supervision of the relevant partner.
