On April 15, 2015, the Elsevier Training on the Use of ScienceDirect and Scopus Databases took place in the premises of the Liria Building, "Augla Magna" Hall.

University of Tirana lecturers, third level students, Master level students and other interested parties participated in this activity. During the training, three presentations were held by representatives of Elsevier, Mrs. Lucie Vav?íková, Customer Marketer & Consultant as well as Mr. Peter Porosz, Solution Sales Manager.

During the training, the method of registration on this platform, the form of uploading materials, the use of the platform was presented, and brochures were distributed which help the training.

This activity was developed within the framework of the modernization of the infrastructure and the improvement of the level of teaching and scientific research of the academic staff and students, with the help of the Ministry of Education and Sports and the University of Tirana. Elsevier opens the national trial period for ScienceDirect and Scopus on 1 April 2015 which is valid and free of charge until 13 May 2015.
