UNINOVIS Alliance - UNIVERSITY OF TIRANA

UNINOVIS Alliance

Uninovis Alliance

UNINOVIS is an alliance of eight European universities, including the University of Tirana. The alliance aims to promote education, research and innovation in the field of applied data science, thus becoming a driving force for significant changes in European higher education.

What is UNINOVIS?

The UNINOVIS Alliance includes around 150,000 students and 13,300 academic and administrative staff. The Alliance officially launched its activity in 2025, creating a common European space for academic, research and innovation cooperation.

Through UNINOVIS, students, academic staff and other stakeholders from partner universities can exchange knowledge and contribute with concrete solutions to meet technological and societal needs. The alliance aims to significantly strengthen European cooperation in education and research, by broadly supporting physical and virtual mobility.

After the end of the first four-year funding period, UNINOVIS aims to secure further funding and expand its activity. The current activities constitute only the beginning of a new model of European higher education, where teaching and research are increasingly linked to technological developments and the needs of society.
