🛡️💻 UNINOVIS – Data for LIFE Alliance: CyberSecurity Hackathon
As part of UNINOVIS – Data for LIFE Alliance, the University of Tirana, through the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, successfully organized the intensive week "CyberSecurity Hackathon".
The activity brought together students from the partner universities of the UNINOVIS Alliance: University of Tirana, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and Kauno Kolegija, as well as students from Lynn University, Florida 🌍.
The program included training sessions and practical preparation for the hackathon and the CyberDrill competition in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Authority.
During the week, students engaged in important topics such as cybersecurity, ethical hacking, offensive security, AI agents, threat intelligence, behavioral biometrics, protecting digital systems, and increasing cyber capacities in the public and private sectors.
In the CyberDrill competition, participants worked on real-time practical challenges, testing their knowledge, problem-solving skills, and capacity to respond to concrete cybersecurity scenarios. At the end of the event, the winners were announced and all participants were provided with 2 credits for their commitment and contribution.
This activity demonstrated the value of international cooperation in the field of Cybersecurity, creating an important experience for students in developing practical skills and building intercultural connections within the UNINOVIS – Data for LIFE Alliance.
