The University of Tirana applies for the first time to become part of European University Alliance, UNINOVIS DATA FOR LIFE.
In the framework of internationalization and expansion of cooperation with university actors, the Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha signed the declaration of UT's participation in UNINOVIS together with the rectors of 6 European public universities: with the rector of the Sorbonne University Paris Nord, France; of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany; of the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Italy; of Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland; of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences, Lithuania; as well as the University of Malaga, Spain.
The UNINOVIS alliance aims to create joint or double degrees in all study cycles in the field of data (Data Sciences), through which students will specialize in understanding, analyzing, using, managing and securing data applied in many fields of study.
Also, within the framework of this agreement, the creation of the first European University in data sciences (DATA SCIENCES) is also intended.
The rectors of the partner universities of the UNINOVIS Alliance committed to sign bilateral agreements in the framework of the Erasmus+ program, as well as to make other fruitful collaborations in the field of scientific research and teaching.
