🎓 University of Tirana present at the activity “Erasmus+ Blitz: Discover, Connect, Apply!” 🌍

The University of Tirana, represented by Dr. Erida Elmazi, Director of Scientific Research, Projects and External Relations, participated in the activity “Erasmus+ Blitz: Discover, Connect, Apply!”, within the framework of WBAA, organized by Prof. Blerina Vrenozi, National Representative of the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA), as well as UT academic staff, with the support of the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture – EACEA.

This activity provided an excellent opportunity for high school graduates 🎓 and university students 🎓 to get to know the Erasmus+ program, the opportunities it offers, and the partnerships that the University of Tirana has developed.

The event was attended by representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to Albania 🇪🇺, from the Erasmus+ National Office, academic and administrative staff of the University of Tirana, members of WBAA, as well as representatives of higher and secondary education institutions in Albania.

The University of Tirana has over 135 prestigious European partners 🤝, enabling student exchanges 🎓 and academic/administrative staff exchanges.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 program, UT implements various projects, including the project ESN-AIR, which aims to promote the participation of students, especially student associations, in the institutional life of universities in the Adriatic-Ionian region, by raising awareness among high school graduates and students 🎓 about the Erasmus+ program, as well as by improving internationalization practices in higher education, in collaboration with ESN Tirana.

Also, UT is the leading institution in Albania in the implementation of Jean Monnet projects 🇪🇺.

This activity reinforces the University of Tirana's commitment to creating international opportunities for students and encourages their participation in international exchanges and projects, strengthening the practice of internationalization and cooperation in higher education.
