University of Tirana at the diplomatic retreat organized in Dibër!

 

The next diplomatic retreat took place in Greater Dibër, organized by the Embassy of Albania in Skopje, under the auspices of Ambassador H.E. Denion Meidani.

 

This event was attended by representatives of public institutions, university leaders, public figures and students from Albania and North Macedonia, also represented at the diplomatic level by the ambassadors of both countries.

 

The Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha, also participated in this activity, along with leaders of higher education institutions from Albania and North Macedonia.

 

The discussions focused on the field of higher education and scientific research, strengthening inter-university cooperation, the contribution of the University of Tirana, as the leading Albanian university in the region, in the education of Albanian youth, as well as the role that higher education institutions should have in the development of the region.

 

Also, special attention was paid to discussions on the development of joint projects and programs between Albanian universities and higher education institutions of the countries of the region, as well as the exchange of experiences and best practices.

 

The retreat served as an opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen bridges of academic, institutional and regional cooperation, in a friendly atmosphere and open conversation.
