The University of Tirana proves to be the largest and most professional institution of Higher Education in Albania. His intellectual and academic abilities and capacities rank him again in the first place, for the number of projects won within the "Erasmus +" program.

For 2024, UT applied with 20 projects, in the Jean Monnet category and won 9 projects, in some of the main constituent units. In the "JMO Chair" subcategory, 3 projects were applied and 1 was won. While in the "JMO Module" subcategory, 17 were applied and 8 projects were won. Meanwhile, UT has another project under implementation in the "Center of Excellence" subcategory.

Also in 2022 and 2023, UT won 8 projects from this program. These projects are an important area of ​​academic and research work of the academic staff, enabling them to expand the scope of research and study. Also improving and increasing their professional level, as well as their income that comes from working in these projects.
