Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Mynyr Koni, on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, visited the University of Turin in Italy, at the invitation of the Rector of this University, Prof. Gianmaria Ajani. This visit comes after a collaboration between the two universities not only in the framework of the Erasmus program and other joint programs, but also to extend this collaboration further.

In this meeting, the Rector of the University of Tirana was accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology, Prof. Dr. Sabri Laçi, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Prof. Dr. Artur Sula, as well as Senator Prof. Dr. Esmeralda Kromidha.

The rectors of both universities discussed closely the next steps in the meeting they had. In this framework, a cooperation agreement was signed, which will pave the way for the opening of joint study programs. More specifically, Prof. Koni and Prof. Ajani expressed their commitment to opening a joint study program, in the second cycle, in the field of modern languages ​​and communication at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Also, it was agreed that the two universities will increase the areas of exchanges in Erasmus + program projects for students and staff.
