New elections in the Conference of Rectors 

The Rectors' Conference was held today, with rectors of public and non-public universities in Albania.

During this meeting, the Chairman of the Rectors' Conference was elected, a position that will continue to be held by the Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha. Two vice presidents were also elected, Prof. Dr. Tonin Gjuraj for public HEIs, and Prof. Dr. Besnik Aliaj for private HEIs. 

The Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu also participated in this meeting, who during the welcoming speech praised the cooperation for strengthening universities, the expansion of programs within the framework of internationalization and the joint work for the profiling of regional universities. 

The Chairman of the Conference, Professor Artan Hoxha, during his speech emphasized that they have been in constant communication with the Ministry of Education, in the interest of the development of Higher Education in the country and the needs of society. He wishes success to all present for the tasks they have undertaken this mandate.
