The Rector of the University of Tirana, Prof Dr Artan Hoxha and Ms. Sonila Hysi, CEO of the National Diaspora Agency, signed a cooperation agreement between the two institutions for the purpose of providing study opportunities at the University of Tirana to foreign nationals with Albanian origins.

This agreement fosters the empowerment and development of cooperation with the Albanian Diaspora to help preserve Albanian language, culture and national traditions.

In the framework of this agreement, the University of Tirana will offer 9 (nine) quotes of admission for foreign nationals with Albanian origins, who will be granted scholarships by the National Diaspora Agency for the 2020 – 2021 academic year.
