Abstrakti: Ky disertacion trajton rolin e teknikave të Inteligjencës Artificiale për të ndihmuar në realizimin e sistemeve të vendimmarrjes automatike në kontekste të ndryshme aplikative. Studimi fokusohet në analizimin e marrëdhënies ndërmjet performancës së modeleve inteligjente, transparencës së vendimeve dhe integrimit të sistemeve autonome në mjedise reale. Në kuadër të punimit janë trajtuar konceptet teorike të vendimmarrjes automatike, modelet probabilistike, teknikat e të Mësuarit të Makinës dhe të Mësuarit të Thelluar, si dhe qasjet e Inteligjencës Artificiale të Shpjegueshme (XAI). Nga ana metodologjike, disertacioni paraqet tre raste studimore kryesore. Rasti i parë trajton integrimin e metodave XAI në chatbot-e inteligjente për sektorin e hotelerisë, me qëllim rritjen e transparencës dhe besueshmërisë së vendimeve automatike. Rasti i dytë fokusohet në analizën e sentimentit nga e folura në gjuhën shqipe, duke përdorur modele të Mësuarit të Thelluar dhe përfaqësime akustike si MFCC dhe HuBERT në një kontekst me burime të kufizuara gjuhësore. Rasti i tretë propozon një framework të bazuar në konceptin e Binjakut Dixhital (Digital Twin) për monitorimin e cilësisë së ajrit në ambiente të brendshme dhe realizimin e vendimmarrjes automatike përmes sensorëve IoT, modeleve parashikuese dhe moduleve adaptive të kontrollit. Rezultatet tregojnë se teknikat e Inteligjencës Artificiale mund të përdoren në mënyrë efektive për automatizimin e proceseve vendimmarrëse, duke rritur saktësinë, shpejtësinë dhe aftësinë parashikuese të sistemeve së bashku me integrimin e metodave të shpjegueshmërisë

Abstract: This dissertation examines the role of Artificial Intelligence techniques in supporting the implementation of automated decision-making systems across different application contexts. The study focuses on analyzing the relationship between the performance of intelligent models, decision transparency, and the integration of autonomous systems into real-world environments. Within the scope of this work, the theoretical concepts of automated decision-making, probabilistic models, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques, as well as Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) approaches are addressed. From a methodological perspective, the dissertation presents three main case studies. The first case study examines the integration of XAI methods into intelligent chatbots for the hospitality sector, with the aim of increasing the transparency and reliability of automated decisions. The second case study focuses on speech sentiment analysis in the Albanian language by using Deep Learning models and acoustic representations such as MFCC and HuBERT within a low-resource language context. The third case study proposes a framework based on the concept of the Digital Twin for indoor air quality monitoring and the implementation of automated decision-making through IoT sensors, predictive models, and adaptive control modules. The results demonstrate that Artificial Intelligence techniques can be effectively used to automate decision-making processes by improving the accuracy, speed, and predictive capabilities of the systems, together with the integration of explainability methods.
