Over 20 Albanian students from the University of Tirana are pursuing part-time studies at the French University of Poitiers.
They are attending one semester or a full academic year due to scholarships offered by the Erasmus + program.
The students met last week with the leaders of the University of Tirana, Rector Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and the Deans of the six faculties who visited the University of Poitiers, in the framework of signing a wider cooperation agreement between the two universities.
The Rector of the University of Tirana, invited the students to return to Albania after completing their studies in France, not only to continue the academic program, but also to work and contribute to their country. “The country today needs the contribution of everyone, especially of young people who have graduated from good universities abroad,” said Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha.
Since 1992, there are at least 100 students who have benefited from various mobility programs with the University of Poitiers in France.
Meanwhile the recently signed agreement at the level of rectors and special faculties, will also create other opportunities for cooperation in the field of common scientific research and exchange of experiences between the academic staffs.
