The main purpose of the GEOBIZ project is strengthening capacities of academic institutions to better respond to needs of the developing geoinformatics industry in Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Moldova and Montenegro, particularly in the following aspects:  

  • Establishment of new and innovative cooperation forms between business and academia to support interaction in curricular processes, particularly in geoinformatics.  
  • Creation of a business-academia platform that supports perfection in geoinformatics.  
  • Development of innovative programs of teacher training and practical methodologies of teaching/ learning and content in courses based on technology in geoinformatics based on the needs and experience directed by business.  
  • Implementation of better state-of-the-art techniques in the curricular process of geoinformatics.
