On April 5, 2022 the Rector of the University of Tirana held a meeting with delegates from Babe?-Bolyai-UBB University, a public research university located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The purpose of the meeting was to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation in various fields.
Albania’s membership in the EU and the impact that universities and experts of these institutions have in this process was discussed during the meeting, as well as:
– Cooperation with Babes Bolayi University within the Erasmus + program for staff and students exchange;
– Cooperation at bilateral level between universities;
– Cooperation within the framework of expertise in a number of areas which are related to the academic and professional profile of the members of the delegation such as higher education, EU integration, central, local and administrative government.
The meeting was attended by Calin Emilian Hintea, Professor at Babes Bolyai University and University of Michigan in the USA, Dan-Tudor Lazar, Vice Rector for Finance, Digitalization and Student Relations and Professor at Babes Bolyai University in the field of economics and public finance, Catalin Baba, Professor in the field of public and health policy and Daniel Pop, researcher.
