University of Tirana and Polis University, in the presence of the rectors Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha and Prof. Dr. Besnik Aliaj, signed a cooperation agreement, which includes academic exchanges, scientific research, innovation and joint national and international projects.
The two institutions have currently cooperated in the framework of the reform in higher education and scientific research, in the framework of the Conference of Rectors, as well as in the framework of two European Erasmus + projects.
The two institutions will develop collaborations which consist of:
– design and application in national, nationwide and international projects, mainly funded by the EU, such as: Erasmus +, Horizon Europe, etc;
– organization of joint activities, – debates, conferences, symposia, workshops, summer and winter schools in various fields of science, such as law, economy, technology, social sciences, etc.;
– facilitation of student transfer procedures between universities, etc.
Vice Rector of UT Prof. Asoc.Dr. Bernard Dosti, Head of the Directorate of Scientific Research, Projects and Foreign Relations at UT, Dr. Erida Elmazi and Dr. Ledian Bregasi, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Dr. Flora Krasniqi, Director of Office of Projects and Foreign Relations from Polis University were also part of the meeting.
