🎉 We are proud to announce that the University of Tirana is coordinating the newly funded #CreaTechProject, supported by the EIT – European Institute of Innovation and Technology under the EIT HEI Initiative IV Call 2024, with a total project value of €1.34 million! 🚀
The project officially launched in April 2025, and the consortium gathered for the kick-off meeting on May 21st. The initiative brings together 9 partners from 6 countries, including Italy, Slovenia, Greece, the United Kingdom, Kosovo, and Albania, alongside associated partners contributing to its broader impact.
🔍 The goal of CreaTech is to boost innovation and entrepreneurship in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) by:

· Strengthening the capacity of higher education institutions to support innovation through training and mentorship;

· Equipping students and aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools to launch and scale start-ups in the CCIs;

· Fostering collaboration between academia, business, and cultural ecosystems;

· Providing structured support through a digital platform and start-up booster programs.
🎨💡 The project places a strong focus on co-creating innovative services with local communities, leveraging cultural heritage, digital transformation, and entrepreneurial leadership to improve the well-being of rural areas and society at large.
